At the request of a tourism organization, I served as an interpreter for two Americans participating in a Sansa Odor experience.
It seems that Mr. Anderson visited Morioka this August to watch the Morioka Sansa Odori, was deeply moved by it, and contacted them directly to request lessons.
Two members of Seiryu taught the Morioka Sansa Odori, “Tanabata Kuzushi,” and I interpreted for them. He practiced with such enthusiasm that after the session ended, he even asked the instructors directly to teach him the hand movements.
He mentioned that he plans to come see Morioka Sansa Odori again next year.
I look forward to seeing him again next year.
