These 15 years represent the journey of the entire Tohoku region as it has overcome profound grief and persevered toward reconstruction with the warm support of both domestic and international audiences.
We continue to cherish our unwavering remembrance for those who lost their lives and our unwavering hope for the reconstruction of our hometown. The Tohoku Kizuna Festival is a place to connect these unwavering feelings and hopes to the future, bringing together the strength of the bonds we have forged together on our journey toward reconstruction.
