オーストラリアからのスキーのお客様が、伝統的な芸妓(げいぎ)のパフォーマンスを 料亭「喜の字」で見ることになり、４週に渡って来盛、踊りや遊びの説明や、芸妓さ んの通訳などをしました。Ski travelers from Australia came to Morioka and enjoyed geigi performance at one of the traditional Japanese restaurants. Morioka city is supporting preserving geigi system. From the Edo Period, geigi in kimono have been entertaining guests, performing Japanese dance, playing shamisen, as well as serving sake.
